Sanding Ovations

Thursday, November 17, 2011 through Sunday, November 20, 2011 on the beach at 104th Avenue & Gulf Boulevard, behind the Bilmar Beach Resort. 10 world-class sand sculptors from throughout North America come to the Sand Sculpture Capital of Florida in a four-day Master’s Cup sand sculpting competition for over $10,000 in prize money. Watch as the sculptors create amazing works of art using nothing but sand, water and lots of imagination.
Sculpting on Thursday, November 17 and Friday, November 18 8am to 5:30pm. Saturday, November 19 8am to 3pm. Awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place, Sculptor’s Choice and People’s Choice at 6pm Saturday. Live music, kids beach playground, food court, merchandise mart on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
